Drubpon Tsering Rinpoche
Representative of the spiritual director & Board member

Drubpon Tsering Rinpoche has been the resident lama and representative of H.E. Garchen Rinpoche at the Drikung Garchen Institute since 2004. He tirelessly takes care of the needs of the students at the center. Drubpon Tsering Rinpoche regularly gives teachings and empowerments, and guides practitioners in longer and shorter retreats.

Drubpon Palkyi
Resident Lama

Drubpon Palkyi has been active at the Drikung Garchen Institute since August 2013 to support Drubpon Tsering Rinpoche. In his absence, she leads the regular pujas, gives seminars herself, and, with the help of volunteers, lovingly cares for the house and garden.

Ute Sattelberger took refuge with Drubpon Tsering Rinpoche in 2018 and has supported the center in various ways ever since. She is currently a board member of Shenpen Dawa, regularly cooks at events, and helps with the bookkeeping.

Monika Sojer-Brockschmidt has been on the board of Shenpen Dawa since 2022 and is responsible for general business matters. Angelika Bauer has been in the Dharma since 1995. She has practiced in various traditions, learned Tibetan, and volunteered in Dharma projects. She has been a student of Garchen Rinpoche since the founding of the Drikung Garchen Institute and has been a practitioner of alternative medicine in her own practice for 35 years.
