Five-fold Path of Mahamudra: Yidam II
Drubpon Tsering Rinpoche
PARTICIPATION: on site
LANGUAGES: Tibetan with translation into German (Katrin Querl) and English (Sonam Spitz)
This weekend, Drubpön Tsering Rinpoche will continue teaching the second part in the five-fold path of Mahamudra, the yidam practice of Chakrasamvara. He will also explain how to perform the practice during retreat.
The five-deity practice of Chakrasamvara is one of the most important practices in the Kagyu tradition. Especially in the Drikung Kagyu school, Chakrasamvara is the most frequently accomplished yidam. When practicing the five-fold path of Mahamudra (ngaden), he is the main yidam. Later, in the practice of the six yogas of Naropa, it is Vajrayogini (Tib. Dorje Naljorma).
