Vajrakilaya (Tib. Dorje Phurba) is the embodiment of the enlightened activity of all buddhas. He is the wrathful expression of wisdom and compassion, overcoming all internal and external obstacles, cleansing mental poisons and spiritual impurities. The sharp, penetrating energy of the phurba symbolizes his powerful activities to protect all sentient beings. With the retreat, we eliminate the negative forces before the Tibetan New Year, the year of the wooden dragon, which begins on February 28, 2025.
